hotel critic: "What's in a name?"...review by harrison brown Rightly or wrongly people judge hotels by name. I too am guilty of this. When City Inn first emerged I thought this was to be just another faceless, cheap chain hotel, not a contemporary luxury hotel. However, I am very happy to report that this hotel has pleasantly surprised me. From the moment you arrive you absorb the fresh, vibrant atmosphere, smell the coffee or are tempted to access the very stylish lounge bar. I liked the bedrooms contemporary, uncluttered design with fabulous floor to ceiling windows... and power showers! Just voted Best Business Hotel Brand at The Business Travel Awards 2006, this purpose built hotel is full of surprises and offers a good value all-round hotel experience. Although it has built a reputation for Corporate stays, a weekend or leisure break is much recommended. The hotel has good facilities, a great restaurant, stunning London views from many floors and is literally a stone's throw from the best London attractions. Rates are priced to tempt you, so take advantage. Definitely one to try!
